How the Scheme works

1. You ring the telephone coordinator to discuss your needs.

2. The coordinator arranges for a volunteer to get in touch with you.

3. The coordinator rings you back and gives you the name of  your volunteer.

4. The volunteer will ring you and make arrangements to help.

Please refer to the Transport charges - zone boundaries to find out the charge of any journey you arrange with our volunteers.

Transport charges are priced as below:

All short trips within the parish, of less than 4 miles are free.

Longer round trips, in excess of 4 miles, will incur Zone 1 charges.

We are no longer using a zoned map but calculating the zone charge based on mileage.

Charges are based on a return trip cost.

Parking fees are not included and are charged separately.
